Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (“Lacspace”, “we”) for the use of the iSmartKid website, apps and lessons (the “Service”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and who may use iSmartKid

• Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
• Children may use iSmartKid through child profiles on that account, under the parent’s supervision and responsibility.
• Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information, and keep your email address up to date.

3. Plans and billing

iSmartKid offers a Free plan and a Pro subscription billed monthly or yearly. Current prices for India (INR) and Nepal (NPR) are shown on our pricing page and at checkout.

• Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled, where the payment method supports renewals. Otherwise we will remind you to renew.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or eSewa (Nepal).
• Prices may change. We will tell you before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
• Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel Pro at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Our content

Lessons, videos, audio, illustrations, characters and software on iSmartKid belong to Lacspace or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your family’s non-commercial learning. Please don’t copy, resell, publicly screen or redistribute them. Schools and organisations should contact partnerships@lacspace.com.

6. What your child creates

Code, answers and projects created on iSmartKid stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run the Service, for example to save progress and show it to you.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

• Try to access other people’s accounts or data, or get around the parental gate or paywall.
• Disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Upload or run harmful code, or use coding tools to attack any system.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful to children.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

8. Availability and changes

iSmartKid is preparing for launch, so features, lessons and prices may change. We work to keep the Service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

9. Disclaimers and liability

iSmartKid supports learning but doesn’t guarantee particular educational results. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@lacspace.com. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

11. Contact and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact support@lacspace.com first. Most issues are resolved quickly. Legal notices can be sent to compliance@lacspace.com. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes in advance.
